What’s The Role?

Our client, a leading provider of specialist motor finance, is looking for Case Handlers to join them on a new project in their affordability team.

The successful candidates will be working with a high level of accuracy to prescribed processes and strict deadlines as part of a high-quality team to determine customers affordability for repayments on credit agreements.

Role Responsibilities

• Conducting affordability checks to review and assess customers financial information
• Determine a customer’s ability to afford repayments on credit agreements for vehicle purchases
• Evaluating income, expenses, credit history, and other relevant financial data to make informed affordability decisions
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies including the Consumer Credit Sourcebook
• Supporting vulnerable and non-vulnerable customers
• Meeting quality and production targets

What Knowledge, Skills & Experience We Need

• Proven experience in a similar role, conducting suitability checks on customers applying for credit
• Motor finance and collections experience beneficial
• Working knowledge of the Consumer Credit Sourcebook (CONC)
• PC skills including Word and Excel
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work to demanding deadlines including workflow and time management
• Ability to attain and maintain specified quality and production targets
• Strong communication and telephony skills
• Demonstrate an ability to work with honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and competency
