What’s The Role?
Our client, a leading provider of specialist motor finance, is looking for an experienced Team Leader to join them on a new project in their affordability team.
You will be supporting a team of Case Handlers to work as part of a high-quality team to determine customers affordability for repayments on credit agreements.
Role Responsibilities
- Managing a team of Affordability Case Handlers to consistently meet productivity and quality targets
- Setting clear KPIs and targets
- Checking the quality of work produced by the team, ensuring the right procedures are followed
- Providing feedback to colleagues and management, ensuring this is delivered constructively
What Knowledge, Skills & Experience We Need
- Strong experience of managing a team within finance, banking, or automotive industry
- Any experience of affordability checks, motor finance or collections experience would be advantageous
- Knowledge of the Consumer Credit Sourcebook would be beneficial
- PC skills including Word and Excel
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work to demanding deadlines including workflow and time management
- Ability to attain and maintain specified quality and production targets
- Strong communication and telephony skills
- Demonstrate an ability to work with honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and competency
