Our client, a reputable bank, is seeking experienced Project Managers (PMs) and Project Management Officers (PMOs) with Financial Industry experience to work within the Program Management team of a large-scale Program at one of our biggest Banking clients. The Project Manager role is to support Business Banking as part of a Section 166 review program. Successful candidates would be responsible for the management, planning and prioritization of responses to Skilled Person information requests across the Program covering a wide range of Business lines and functions as part of a wider Section 166 review.

  • Location: Remote
  • Hourly Rate: $40-$50/hr, DOE (which if worked full time for a year is the salary equivalent of $83,200-$104,000/yr) **this role is to be paid based on hours worked**
  • Work Pattern: Monday-Friday, standard business hours
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Length: 6-12 months with opportunity to extend

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Analysis and distribution of regular Management Information (MI) meeting and communication packs
  • Support the creation of Program plans, provide MI ensuring sufficient frequency, granularity, accuracy and insight to facilitate appropriate decision making
  • Adhere to best practice PMO functions and services to ensure a consistent and excellent level of service that means customer expectations are met and is consistent with what has been communicated
  • Evaluates Program PMO activity, identifying alignment with the PMO target operating model making recommendations to Head of PMO / Program Office taking into account costs benefits and risks
  • Ensures that effective PMO processes are in place across the program, and that functions are integrated effectively, to ensure a consistent and excellent levels of service are delivered
  • Attend and document outcomes for regular meetings to ensure all plans are on target, necessary actions are captured, and key milestones are met

What knowledge, skills, and experience we need:

  • 3-5 years experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Previous PM/PMO experience within Financial Services
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including effective meeting management
  • Ability to analyze and summarize data to be consumed by multiple audiences
  • Experience with senior stakeholder and relationship management
  • Leadership and planning of projects
  • Strong time management capability
  • Results orientated and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines, and the ability to motivate others to deliver
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Qualified in formal Project / Change Management
  • Experienced in dealing with multiple stakeholders in different business functions who have different objectives
  • Experience and understanding of Financial Services
  • Knowledge/experience of Section 166 Reviews
