Our Client, one of the world’s leading global investment banks, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Fund Services Associate to join their Global Alternative Private Fund Services Team. The Private Fund Services Associate will be responsible for the planning and execution of fund life cycle events for Asset Management Private Markets products. The role will involve working closely with internal and external stakeholders, and will require a strong understanding of fund products and regulatory environments.

  • Location: Onsite in New York, NY
  • Hourly Rate: $45-$55/hr, depending on experience (which if worked full time for a year is the salary equivalent of $93,600-$114,400/yr) **this role is to be paid based on hours worked**
  • Work Pattern: Monday-Friday, standard business hours
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Length: 5 months with opportunity to extend/permanent hire

Your day-to-day activities will include: 

  • Coordinate the launch and rationalization of new pooled vehicles
  • Facilitate fund lifecycle events including the launch of new funds/share classes, mergers, closures, restructurings and other fund events
  • Ensure the adequacy of account structures and surveillance for funds
  • Work with the Central Fund Services team to evaluate, select, negotiate, and onboard new vendors
  • Provide superior client service and front-to-back support for AM’s pooled vehicle complex
  • Create and drive strategic projects to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Prepare management information reporting for internal management, working groups, and committee

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fund experience
  • Knowledge of fund products (i.e., private markets, alternative investment funds and registered products) and regulatory environments
