Our client is seeking an experience Senior Business Analyst to capture and document requirements, translate them into functional plans, and assist with managing projects through to completion.

Work with senior stakeholders (business, operations, risk, compliance, IT) to uncover and document business needs.
Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, functional specifications, use-cases, user stories, process flows, data models.
Develop business cases and benefit realisation plans: quantify impact, assess risk, recommend options and articulate value to senior leadership.
Work closely with project managers and delivery teams: define scope, schedule deliverables, manage risks/issues, ensure solutions meet business requirements and compliance standards (regulatory, audit, controls).
Drive process improvement and business change: identify inefficiencies, propose and implement improved business/operational models and technology enablers, ensure alignment with strategic goals in financial services.
Experience as a senior business analyst within financial services
Proven track record writing BRDs, functional specs, process documentation and working end-to-end across requirements
Strong understanding of financial-services operations
Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies; comfortable in complex change programmes, stakeholder governance and multi-discipline teams.
Excellent analytical skills: able to interpret and model business processes, data flows and stakeholder requirements.
Thorough documentation skills: BRDs, use-cases, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, etc.
Strong stakeholder management: able to engage with senior business sponsors, technical teams, external partners and influence outcomes.
Excellent communication (written & verbal): able to translate technical/operational detail into business-relevant language and vice versa.
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple work-streams and priorities in a dynamic environment.
High business acumen: understands commercial, operational, regulatory drivers and how change creates value.
Familiarity with BA tools such as JIRA/Confluence, Visio (process mapping), MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent.
