What's the Role?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Designer to join our London studio and help shape and deliver transformative work for ambitious clients.

This is a hands-on senior role spanning strategy, product and service innovation, and commercial thinking. You’ll work closely with client business leaders within multidisciplinary teams to identify innovation opportunities and turn them into viable, desirable, and sustainable business outcomes.

You will be focused on informing and steering design decisions to ensure solutions align with client strategic goals while balancing user desirability, technical feasibility, and business value.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing the models, systems, and mechanisms that help organisations create, deliver, and capture value through the experiences they offer.

Responsibilities

Lead business design workstreams throughout the design process, from discovery and conceptualisation through to prototyping and testing, ensuring high-quality outputs with measurable impact.
Translate research, market insights, and data into clear propositions, business models, and strategic recommendations.
Define and articulate value propositions, service concepts, and growth opportunities grounded in both user and business needs.
Develop business cases, financial models, and commercial narratives to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure solutions are not only desirable, but also operationally feasible and economically viable.
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder alignment sessions, and executive presentations to build shared understanding and momentum.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary design, product, and engineering teams to bring ideas and concepts to life.
Support and develop client relationships, contributing to ongoing engagement growth and opportunity development.
Bring structure and clarity to complex challenges, aligning teams around a shared direction and measurable outcomes.
Contribute to innovation and transformation initiatives across a variety of sectors and client environments.
Work collaboratively within agile, cross-functional delivery teams.
Remain up to date with emerging business design, innovation, and market trends.
Demonstrate flexibility during periods of high workload and support wider business initiatives where required.
You will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities that fall within your capabilities as directed by management.

Essential Skills & Experience Required

Approximately 6–8+ years’ experience in business design, innovation, strategy, consulting, or product-focused roles.
Strong ability to combine analytical thinking with creativity, turning complexity into clear strategic direction.
Experience translating research, insight, and market analysis into actionable opportunities and recommendations.
Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, including presenting to and influencing leadership-level audiences.
Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to shape business insights and decision-making.
Comfortable operating in high-uncertainty environments and bridging the gap between business and design disciplines.
Strong storytelling, facilitation, and communication skills.
Experience developing business cases, commercial strategies, and financial models.
Ability to connect customer, business, and operational needs into cohesive business solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
Experience working within agile, multidisciplinary environments.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
