The role focuses on providing analytical and operational support across regulated market sectors, including Financial Crime, remediation, commercial banking, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual testing and record results to identify defects
  • Write test scripts, specifications, and detailed bug reports using tools such as Jira/Azure
  • Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing across platforms
  • Participate in defect triage meetings and verify fixes
  • Maintain test evidence and update regression suites
  • Identify business needs and draft key documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories)
  • Create process maps and visual diagrams to support business understanding
  • Use tools such as Excel and SQL to analyse data and identify trends
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Assist in maintaining project plans, risk logs, and PMO governance
  • Produce regular project reporting for senior stakeholders
  • Support resource tracking and budget documentation

Essential Skills & Experience Required

  • Degree in humanities or social sciences (advantageous)
  • Customer-facing experience (e.g. retail, hospitality or similar) is required
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Methodical approach with high attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple disciplines (BA, Testing, PMO)
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a structured training environment
  • 5 years UK residency required due to role nature
