What’s the role? 

Our client, a major retail bank, are seeking a Senior Manager to provide FC Policy Guidance to Front Office, CCB Remediation Project, Remediation Advisory team, Remediation Quality Assurance and external vendor ensuring fit for purpose design and approach for execution working with colleagues across FC Remediation.

Responsibilities: 

• Providing FC Policy Guidance to Front Office, CCB Remediation Project, Remediation Advisory team, Remediation Quality Assurance and external vendor ensuring fit for purpose design and approach for execution working with colleagues across FC Remediation.
• Approving FC Guidance Materials and Procedures related to CCB.
• Identifying any waivers and dispensation requirements. Working with CCB Front Office, FC Centre of Excellence, Remediation Advisory and External Vendor to agree on such waivers/dispensations prior to formal approval.
• Ensuring policy cascades are shared in a timely manner to all relevant BAU/Remediation stakeholders and embedded within a reasonable timeframe.
• Reviewing formal Change Requests from the External Vendor.
• Providing guidance at the Policy Advisory Forum.

Essential skills & experience required:

• Previous Financial Crime Policy/Advisory experience for at least five years is required.
• Demonstrable Subject Matter expertise in Financial Crime including AML, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Prevention of Facilitation of Tax Evasion, Onboarding rules and regulations.
• Ability to review critical information and to advise on the correct decision.
• Track record of developing/managing relationships within key internal and external stakeholders
