What’s the Role?
Our client, a leading digital bank, is seeking a skilled Workday Consultant with a focus on the people and change management aspects of Workday implementation. This role will be pivotal in coordinating and supporting the successful adoption and integration of Workday, ensuring the transition is smooth, effective, and aligned with the organisation’s culture and people strategy.
The consultant will collaborate closely with HR, IT, and project teams to ensure the system is implemented with a clear focus on the end-user experience and organisational change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change Management: Lead the change management strategy for Workday implementation, focusing on communication, stakeholder engagement, and training to ensure successful adoption across the business.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and business departments, gathering feedback, understanding people-related requirements, and ensuring those needs are addressed in the Workday implementation.
- User Adoption: Monitor and report on user adoption rates, identifying any barriers to successful use and collaborating with relevant teams to drive improvements.
- Organisational Alignment: Ensure that Workday aligns with the organisation’s people strategy and business processes, focusing on enhancing employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Communication: Maintain clear, consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on the implementation progress and managing expectations.
- Process Improvement: Work closely with HR and business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, ensuring that Workday is configured to meet those needs.
- Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyse feedback from users to ensure continuous improvement in the use and functionality of Workday post-implementation.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in Workday implementations with a focus on people and change management, rather than technical configuration.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and how Workday can support HR functions, including talent management, payroll, recruitment, and employee performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in managing and delivering training programmes, workshops, and user adoption strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with HR and change management principles and practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Certification in Workday (or similar systems) is desirable but not essential.
