What’s the role? 

We are looking for an experienced operation manager to oversee the running and delivery of a financial services collections project.  The successful candidate will have at least 3 years operations experience within this area, specific experience of secured lending would be an advantage.

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for inspiring, developing, coaching and formally appraising Operations Managers to set performance standards
  • Recognising achievements and managing individual and team performance.
  • Alongside the day to day senior operational management of teams you will also be responsible for ensuring team are compliant with Policies, Standards and external regulation.
  • You will be passionate about customer service and will be pivotal in driving the operations of the team in order to deliver fair customer outcomes.

Essential skills & experience required:

  • 3+ years’ recent experience of Operational Management in a collections/customer calls environment within a financial services organisation.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry risk and governance standards
  • Proven experience of delivering performance improvements and efficiencies within a financial operation
  • Ability to lead a team that can coach, lead and motivate others toward improved performance
  • Proven experience of change management within large operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Experience of managing and implementing change
